Jf, my friend and housemate brought me to Pepper Lunch for (guess what?) lunch. I didn’t know what the whole concept of the foodstore was so I assumed that everything they served just had pepper on it. And so I was wondering a bit why all the pictures on their menu and store had raw meat and veggies.
Apparently, they serve the dish on a hot plate and let you cook your own lunch, which is quite a nice experince. As the website says, it’s “an affordable DIY fast food steakhouse.” And boy did I enjoy cooking and eating my lunch. The branch we went to was in Hougang Mall. Jf says there’s a branch wherein there are instructional videos showing you how to cook your food. If you love steaks or you just want to try something new, you should come by Pepper Lunch. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the experience.
